Energy Efficiency Programs

On July 1, 2009, the Hawaii Public Utilities Commission transferred responsibility of the energy efficiency programs formerly run by the Hawaiian Electric Utilities to a new energy efficiency program administrator.

As the new Public Benefits Fee Administrator, Hawaii Energy, will provide rebates and incentives for the purchase and installation of energy efficiency measures.
